VOBS Community Impact on First Ever Gives Day
Gifts of resilience, compassion, and perseverance are possible because of generous donors who believe in and support the mission of Voyageur Outward Bound School. Our first ever VOBS Gives Day initiative in June resulted in 12 new donors, 11 increased gifts, 62 generous gifts and more than $150,000. We are so excited to celebrate and acknowledge this incredible, vibrant community and each donor who maximized their donation as a result of a very generous matching gift donor.
Voyageur's priorities are brought to life on course through the unmatched curriculum, talented instructors, and crew members. Each gift on VOBS Gives Day will helped make a difference in meeting our priorities:

First Crews of Summer Return! |
|
The first crews of the summer are returning and celebrating their incredible adventure and achievement.
We're celebrating Minds Matter, DCTC, and all of the students from across the country that took a bold step into the wilderness to grow and discover more about themselves, their relationships, and their crewmates!
Summer is the busiest season of the year and crews depart for the Boundary Waters Canoe Area every week. From Intercept to Pathfinder to Classic Expedition, instructors, course directors, and students alike are geared up and ready for it all!
The rain has been falling and the mosquitoes are hungry - but so is the student appetite for adventure, their aptitude for perseverance, and their readiness to learn new things and new people.

Voyageur Move & Meet | July 12 |
|
Start your weekend off right with the VOBS's Move & Meet at Hidden Falls Regional Park on Saturday, July 12, from 9 - 11 AM in St. Paul. Meet at 9 AM for a traditional Outward Bound Chow Circle with coffee and delicious pastries! Hear from VOBS Executive Director, Jack Lee, and your fellow VOBS community members. Then join in on a group hike that suits your interest and ability level. Groups will plan to leave from the Hidden Falls Picnic Shelter around 9:30 AM. |
