Summer is in full swing! Students have been heading out on course and returning with new skills and new friendships, along with stories upon stories to share about their time with Outward Bound. Exceptional staff have been leading these students through the pristine wilderness of the Boundary Waters, Lake Superior, Superior Hiking Trail and the St. Croix Riverway. It's an exciting and engaging time of year and we look forward to sharing with you incredible stories of impact at the end of the season. For now, we're soaking up as much of summer as we can get!

Each year, high school seniors and young adults are tasked with discovering the perfect answer to “what’s next?” Throw in the aftereffects a global pandemic has had on the social and emotional health of teens—and that question becomes a million times harder to answer. 

To students, recent graduates, parents, and young adults—stop and breathe. It’s okay to question your options, your original plan, and even evaluate alternatives. You’re not alone. An increasing number of young adults are looking for a different option.
