That's an official wrap on the VOBS winter season in Big Bend, Texas and at Homeplace! And we wrapped it up in the best way possible, welcoming two new puppies to the VOBS crew - Birdie and Bogey! While the winter crew gives our two new pups an official welcome, they will also spend time debriefing the season,
sharing memories about all the ways they saw students discover passion, define their fears and build lasting friendships.
While one season ends, preparation for the busiest season of the year begins! As this new season approaches, we will take some time to refresh and rejuvenate, and use the experiences from our winter season to build on an already incredible year. We look forward to welcoming new students, new staff and new crew soon but in the meantime, we hope all of you in our community are finding your own refresh and rejuvenation as we shake off winter and welcome spring.
At VOBS, we don’t just step outside of comfort zones; we create memories outside of them. VOBS is seeking cooks for our Homeplace basecamp in Ely, MN. Please share this job posting with your network and help us fill this role! Come be at the heart of our basecamp during our busiest months of
the year. This is a great opportunity for someone who has interest in future field work or loves to be around the hustle and bustle of basecamp life! Experience as a cook or familiarity with sanitation practices not required, as we can teach all the necessary skills!
