It's Groundhogs Day and for the 136th time, Punxsutawney Phil, the "Seer of Seers, the Prognosticator of Prognosticators" has emerged to tell us our wintery fate. While many out there may be crossing their fingers for a lack of shadow, granting the prediction of early spring, our Minnesota VOBsters hope and
pray that our little furry friend sees his most glorious shadow.
Earlier today, Phil emerged and he has spoken:
"As I look over the faces of the true believers from around the world, I bask in the warmth of your hearts, I couldn't imagine a better fate with my shadow I have cast than a long, lustrous six more weeks of winter."
Rejoice! Spring will come and be most welcome in due time, but today, our Minnesota crew looks forward to more snow, more ice and changing more lives through the beauty of our winter expeditions.
