We're nearing the end of the year, and here at VOBS, that means fall programming is wrapping up in the Boundary Waters and they're getting ready for the winter season, our Texas base in Big Bend is in full swing and our Twin Cities Center is in the thick of their yearly Insight work with our nonprofit partners.
We can't
thank our supporters, staff, and students enough for giving us such an incredible year thus far. As we work on 2023 planning, we reflect on all that we've accomplished and look forward to what the end of the year brings!

The night sky, especially when viewed from a designated International Dark-Sky location! Even better, our Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness and Big Bend locations have received this designation! Imagine viewing the night sky while on a Big

This 50-day wilderness canoeing and backpacking course in the wild and rugged wilderness of Big Bend is ideal for young adults struggling to build the skills necessary to live independently. Within the structure of a wilderness expedition, students experience the thrills of adventure, the satisfaction of a hard day’s work and the camaraderie of a supportive team in a classroom unlike any
other.
