Last week, we're sure you experienced a Thanksgiving holiday that was likely quite different from years past; however, one thing remains embedded in the day, gratitude. In honor of the holiday, and for all we've been through this year already, we want to thank you.
Thank you for your grit, determination
and resilience. Thank you for adapting, growing and leaning in to new and hard things. Thank you for being you, for sharing with us your gifts and for joining us on this journey, shifting with us as we adapted along the way.
This will be a memorable year, but we think what we'll remember most is what YOU gave to our crew. We are truly grateful for the community of compassion you create with VOBS. Thank you for your spirit, your support and your generosity.

Over the last few weeks, VOBS has received incredible support. Our supporters are leading the way with compassion and contributing to VOBS in so many ways. As we move into the home stretch of 2020, we would like to share our gratitude, and our progress:
Through our Compassion Is My Compass campaign, over 185 T-shirts were purchased, which raised over $2,000 in donations. Thank you for joining the VOBS Compassion Crew! Compassion looks SO good on you!
Our crew really showed up for GiveMN and GivingTuesday too. VOBS raised over $7,000, and when you add matching donor gifts, total donations topped $17,000!

VOBS Course Director, Theo Theobald, reflects on the relaunch of our Fall Programming and the first Pathfinder Course at VOBS since the pandemic started.

On an Intercept expedition students recognize and understand the value of showing up for themselves and for others. Through engaging in a community that relies on their strength to push forward, their capability to be strong in the face of challenge and adversity is both satisfying and rewarding. With an experience like this, students return home with the confidence, tools and skills to choose positive engagement and self confidence in the face of challenge and adversity.
